Biography
Linda MacDonald joined Avanir Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer in January 2018 to lead and provide the strategic vision for the Avanir operations organization. Linda brings over 20 years of US and global biopharmaceutical industry experience with exceptional results inspiring high-performing teams, developing innovative strategies and strengthening operational excellence. Most recently, she served at UCB as Vice President of Global Marketing & Patient Access Operations based in Brussels, Vice President of Talent Services in the Asia Pacific Region, and Head of Global Customer-Facing Excellence Strategy & Operations. Prior to UCB, she was with Eli Lilly and Company for 17 years where she led and catapulted performance across Sales, Operations, and other critical functional areas in a wide variety of therapeutic classes in the US. Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University and is a graduate of Stanford University’s Executive Program (SEP).
