Carol J. Fabian, Md

Biography

In 1989, Dr. Fabian founded the High Risk Clinic, which has evolved into the Breast Cancer Prevention Center. She has been on the faculty of the University of Kansas Medical Center since 1977 and is a professor of internal medicine and a board-certified medical oncologist. She also is a University of Kansas 

Research Interest

Distinguished Professor, recipient of the Kansas Masonic Research Endowed Chair and leads the Cancer Prevention Program in The University of Kansas Cancer Center. She is responsible for overall clinical care and clinical research protocols in the Breast Cancer Prevention and Survivorship Centers. Dr. Fabian performs clinical consultations as well as breast fine-needle aspirations for risk stratification and response evaluation for research studies.
