Biography
Kandy joined the Breast Cancer Prevention Center in October 2011. She received her master's degree in nursing from St. Louis University and nurse practitioner certification from ANCC. She has 30 years of acute care nursing experience,
Research Interest
which includes working with breast surgeons and breast cancer patients. She is the nurse practitioner for the Prevention Center and provides or assists with research procedures and follow-up. She also sees patients for evaluation of acute breast problems (such as lumps, bloody nipple discharge, and breast pain).
