Biography
Dr. Jo Klaveness, M.sc. MSc (Pharm), Ph.D., serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Drug Discovery Laboratory AS. From 1983 to 1994, Dr. Klaveness served in various positions at Nycomed Imaging AS, including Project Manager, Director and Vice President in the research and development organisation. He has been a Director at Pronova BioPharma Norge AS since 2007. He is a Director at Lauras AS and Omegatri AS. Dr. Klaveness served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Pronova BioPharma ASA since 1995. He is a Professor in Medicinal chemistry at the School of Pharmacy of the University of Oslo. He is the Inventor of about 120 patents relating to several new pharmaceutical products on the marked. Dr. Klaveness received M.Sc. with in organic chemistry, M.Sc.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical chemistry and Ph.D. in Organic chemistry all from the University of Oslo.
