Biography
Kim Sonnen leads Fresenius Medical Care North America’s (FMCNA) negotiations with commercial insurers and develops new models for engaging with and developing coordination among government payors, exchange-based plans, risk-bearing provider systems and other new payors. She plays a leading role in the development of FMCNA’s strategic business operations and has significantly contributed to the growth of the company’s dialysis services business. Kim joined FMCNA in 2003 as Vice President of Managed Care and Marketing, after serving as Chief Operations Officer of Renaissance Health Care, a renal disease management company. Her previous health care roles included leadership positions with Gambro Healthcare and a consulting organization which she founded.
