Ileana Manduteanu is a Deputy Director and Associate member of the Romanian Academy. she is a Member of the Scientific Council and Expert national grant evaluator. Ileana Manduteanu is a Visiting scientist: Institute of Pharmacological Research „Mario Negriâ€, Milan, Italy.
Research Interest
Molecules and mechanisms involved in vascular inflammation as targets for nanotherapeutic strategies; Role of cell adhesion molecules, cytokines and chemokines in vascular pathology; The use of liposomes, lipid nanoemulsions and polymeric nanoparticles as site-specific drug delivery systems.
