Vladen Stevanović

Biography

 Dr. Stevanović is Head of the Department for Adult Orthopedics and Arthroscopic Surgery at the Institute for Orthopaedic Surgery “Banjica” in Belgrade, and Clinical Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery on School of Medicine at University of Belgrade. As co-founder of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Serbia, Dr. Stevanović is dedicated sport trauma and arthroscopy surgeon, and growing shoulder and elbow pathology. He completed visiting fellowships at Texas Orthopedic Hospital (Dr Gary Gartsman, 2014), Clinica Luganese (Alwin Jager Foundation, ESSKA Fellowship, Prof M. Denti, Italy, 2013) and MIDT Hospital, Viborg (Denmark, 2012).Dr. Stevanović is a full member of the ESA (European Shoulder Association of ESSKA) and SECEC-ESSSE (European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow) and a reviewer for the Journal of the Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and International Orthopaedics. Also, he has presented and written on all areas in sport trauma, knee, shoulder and elbow pathology. He is proud to be member of the medical team for Serbia National Tennis Team and Basketball Club “Partizan”.
