Research Interest

 Develop & implement a vision, mission, values & goals of nursing department. • Develop & implement strategic plan for nursing in keeping with hospital overall strategy, mission, resource allocation & operation policies. • Responsible for the provision of the optimum standard nursing services & activities in the hospital, delegating responsibility & authority to appropriate nursing staff. • Represents nursing in policy development & decision making within the organization. • Ensure the efficient & effective use of manpower resources by allocating the nurses to their areas of specialty & experience so the needs of the patients are met. • Ensure the unit supervisors plan annual vacation in their units & that adequate nursing staff is available throughout the year to provide consistency & continuity of patient care. • Make unit / department rounds periodically to see patients & staff at work & the general environment care. • Give regular reports to hospital director to keep him abreast of all activities in the department. • Member of the core committee for JCIA preparation committee.
