Biography
Takeuchi joined Sumitomo Chemical, holding positions in Research and Process Technology, Manufacturing, and Corporate Planning before becoming Manager of the Planning & Coordination Office, Basic Chemicals Sector, in 2004. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 1984 and a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Applied Chemistry at Tokyo’s Waseda University in 1986.
