Neena Varghese

Biography

Neena graduated with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from Mumbai and since then has accumulated over seven years of great work experience as a Physiotherapist in various speciality hospitals. For three years prior to joining City Osteopathy & Physiotherapy, Neena worked with one of the best rehabilitation hospitals in Singapore. This has given Neena a strong background in treating patients with orthopaedic, neurologic, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory problems.  As a certified Mulligan Practitioner Neena extensively uses Mulligan Therapy, which combines Movement with Mobilization. Her background of treating many pre and post surgical patients has driven her interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Her core expertise lies in the treatment of back, neck, shoulder, knee and ankle problems using manual  therapy techniques, exercise therapy and kinesiotaping.    Being a Certified Personal Trainer by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), she understands the right training techniques and how to prevent training related injuries. She gives a lot of importance to correct biomechanics for better performance and injury prevention. Neena uses this knowledge to take patients all the way to the strength and conditioning stage of rehab (and for her own fitness purposes of course!).
