Biography
Dr Sanjay Nalachandran was educated in Singapore and Dublin, Ireland. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1997 and completed his basic surgical training in Dublin, Ireland and returned to Singapore in 2001. Dr Sanjay completed his advanced surgical training in Singapore and spent a further year in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, in Vascular surgery, as part of the HMDP (Health Manpower Development Plan) scholarship which was awarded by the Ministry of Health.
Research Interest
In addition to treating varicose veins, Dr Sanjay also treats spider/reticular veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous ulcers, pregnancy veins, diabetic ulcers, peripheral arterial disease, swollen legs, aorta aneurysms, haemorrhoids, hernias and gallstones. He also conducts colonoscopy screenings and peripheral screenings for people with diabetes.
