He is a Professor in Department of Zoology & Entomology, University of Pretoria,SA & DST/NRF Research Chair in Mammalian Behavioural Ecology and Physiology. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. He is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
Research Interest
Strong interest in chronobiology and biological rhythms in animals and have explored this in subterranean mammals, above ground animals as well as those mammals living in very arid environments.Â
