Biography
Tronel Joubert is a permanent full-time lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law. She holds the degrees LLB and LLM Corporate Law from the University of Pretoria. Tronel is currently registered for her LLD at UNISA and the title of her doctorate is: “A Comparative Study Of The Effects Of Liquidation Or Business Rescue Proceedings On The Rights Of The Employees Of A Companyâ€. She was appointed as a temporary part-time lecturer in the Department of Mercantile Law in 2001 and as a permanent full-time lecturer in 2007.
Research Interest
Her main areas of specialisation are Entrepreneurial Law, Insolvency Law and Business Rescue.
