D H Reid is currently working as Emeritus Professor of chemistry at University of Witwatersrand. He mainly focuses on Synthesis of condensed aromatic hydrocarbons.
Research Interest
He is particularly interested in synthesis of condensed aromatic hydrocarbons with emphasis on odd-alternant hydrocarbons and derived ions and radicals,Synthesis of new sulphur- and nitrogen-heterocyclic systems with potential biological activity.
