Biography
Dr. Jürg Dommer has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Helsana Group since 2013, and serves in this function as a member of the Investment Committee. Furthermore, in his capacity as employer representative, he is a member of the Helsana Insurance Company Ltd. pension fund. Dr. Jürg Dommer acts as an independent lawyer and public notary and has worked in the health insurance sector since 1992. Until 2004 he was a part-time judge at the insurance court of the Canton of St. Gallen (in the area of invalidity insurance). Prior to that, he worked in the banking sector for several years. Jürg Dommer obtained his doctorate in law (Dr. iur) at the University of Freiburg.
