Biography
Ms. Julie Brown has been the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Burberry Group plc since January 18, 2017. Ms. Brown served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Smith & Nephew Plc from February 4, 2013 to January 11, 2017. She was responsible for finance, Investor Relations, IT, global business services and business transformation. Ms. Brown served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of AstraZeneca PLC since June 1, 2012 and served as its Vice President of Group Finance. In her 25 years with AstraZeneca (and predecessor companies), Ms. Brown has held a number of senior financial and management positions including Regional Vice President of Latin America, Marketing Company President of AZ Portugal and Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Research and Development Chief Financial Officer. She has been a Non Executive Director at Roche Holding AG since March 1, 2016. Ms. Brown qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountancy and a Fellow of the Institute of Taxation.
