Biography
Ms. Vanessa Malier has been a Managing Partner of Kurma Partners since January 2015 and serves as its Member of the Executive Board. Ms. Malier serves as a Strategic Advisor at IDinvest Partners SA. She joined Kurma Partner in September 24, 2013 as a Partner, position she held until December 2014. Ms. Malier served as a Vice President of Research & Development and Strategic Planning at Ipsen S.A. from October 2011 to September 2013 and served as its Senior Director of Business Development Oncology since 2009. From March 2011 to November 2011 she served as Senior Director at Ipsen S.A. and from July 2008 to May 2011 as a Director. Prior to that, also at Ipsen S.A. Ms. Malier served as Adenuric Project Leader & International Product Manager from June 2005 to June 2008 and from January 2004 to May 2005 served as GastroEnterology Strategy Team Leader. In July 2003, she joined Ipsen as Strategic Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and headed the portfolio management team for the GI franchise. Ms. Malier served as Product Leader and Team Leader for febuxostat (Adenuric). She served as Business Development Manager at Drug Abuse Sciences, Inc from 1999 to 2003. Ms. Malier started her career as an Analyst at CDC Entreprises Innovation in 1998, where she worked until 1999. She serves as a Board Member of Xeltis AG, Step Pharma (France), Safe Orthopaedics (France) and Asceneuron SA. Ms. Malier serves as a Director at Vivet Therapeutics. She served as a Director of Safe Orthopaedics SA until April 10, 2017. Ms. Malier served as a Director of Erytech Pharma Société Anonyme from January 2014 to July 2014. She is a Scientist by training. She has 15 years of experience in Biotech and pharmaceutical industry, in business development, global strategic marketing, project and portfolio management. Ms. Malier holds DEA (Postgraduate Diploma) in 1997 in Immunology from Institute Pasteur, Paris France and graduated from Ecole Normale Superieure (Cachan) in Biology in 1997.
