Biography
Dr. Lina Shaar is a general dentist who is passionate about providing gentle, individualized care. She enjoys helping her patients heal their pain and educating them on how they can better improve their oral health. She loves all aspects of dentistry and has many years of private practice and training in Canada and the UAE. Dr. Lina was a consistent Dean’s Honor Roll student and has received prestigious awards while in school. She received her undergraduate degree (with honors) in Biochemistry from Western University in Ontario, Canada in 2005 and earned her DMD from the University of Manitoba – School of Dentistry in 2009. She is a true advocate of lifelong learning and has pursued additional certifications in Comprehensive Dental Implant Training, Hands-on Periodontal Surgical Skills and Invisalign. Dr. Lina is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Manitoba Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She holds active licenses in Canada and Dubai Healthcare City.
