Antoine El Achkar

Biography

Mr. El Achkar has more than 30 year's experience of private sector healthcare. He was Director of Dar Al Shifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi before joining VPS in 2007. He has worked with the Ministry of Health and Health Authority-Abu Dhabi (HAAD) on the performance of private hospitals, and is Secretary to the Private Medicine Committee of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce. He completed his Radiography degree in Lebanon, where he worked for some time before moving to the UAE. He joined VPS as Director of the LLH Hospital in Abu Dhabi, later becoming General Manager of the group and overseeing its development.
