Wasim Labban

Biography

 Wasim graduated with distinction from the University of Sharjah in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy. He continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and received his Master's Degree in Physiotherapy in March 2009. He is currently working on his Masters of Philosophy in Health Sciences Education. With over 9 years of experience, Wasim has attended countless local and international congresses, professional workshops and courses in Manual Therapy, Spinal Manipulation, Management of Sports Injuries, Taping, Dry Needling and Exercises Prescription, in addition to Neurological Rehabilitation. He has also conducted several workshops and has delivered presentations at international conferences and seminars. Wasim is one of the first Physiotherapists in the UAE to implement the use of Rehabilitative Ultrasound Imaging in a novel approach for the treatment of pelvic and low back pain. He is a member of the Emirates Medical Association and had served as Secretary General of the Emirates Physiotherapy Society between January 2009 and December 2010. He is registered with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). He is fluent in English and Arabic.
