Biography
Dr. Reyaz ahmad has over 17 years of experience in Internal Medicine. He has worked as a junior resident for degree of Doctor of Medicine in Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga(DMCH), India. DMCH is a large teaching hospital and Tertiary Referral Unit of almost 1500 capacity. He thoroughly enjoyed his work there. He has worked in the emergency department, ICU, CCU, HDU, OPD and medical wards on rotation basis.He has worked as a clinical attachment in geriateric hospital, Blackburn( U.K.)He is a member of Royal College of Physician, U.K, and Ireland .He is doing postgraduate diploma in diabetes form Leicester University (U.K.).
Research Interest
He has conducted research and wrote thesis titled “Observation on alcohol consumption and its effect on lipid profile and risk of IHD in Indian people” for the degree of Doctor of Medicine. He thoroughly enjoyed his previous appointments at Dhahara Hospital, Munger, India and SFP, Abha, Saudi Arabia as an internist. In particular his posting as an Internist in JCI accredited hospital in Dubai has provided him with a wide and varied exposure in internal medicine in the U.A.E. He has special interest in diabetes.
