Biography
Simon Kerr has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, initially in commercial roles with Beecham Pharmaceuticals and Wellcome plc (now GlaxoSmithKline) and for the last 20 years with UK-based biotechnology companies. He was CEO of Gemini Genomics (1996-97), Cambridge Genetics (1998-2000) and Circassia (2001-02), Commercial Director of CeNeS Pharmaceuticals (2003-08) and Director Healthcare Ventures at Imperial Innovations (2008-2013). He has identified, negotiated and closed a large number of transactions including venture financings, licensing and M&A deals. He holds a BA (Economics) from Exeter University and an MSc (Sloan Fellowship) from London Business School.
