Biography
I obtained my PhD in anthropology from the London School of Economics in 2009, and have since held research fellowships at Brunel, Sussex, and Durham, I am currently a Visiting Fellow at Brunel and the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka.
Research Interest
Anthropology & chemistry, Suicide, self-harm, ethnopsychiatry, Cognition, cultural transmission, social learning, Charity, philanthropy, CSR, development, Religion, nationalism, politics, Pesticides, agrochemicals, and their human and environmental impacts, Chemical body burden, biomonitoring, medical and eco toxicology, Purity/danger; pollution/risk, Global health, Sri Lanka & South Asia.
