Biography
I received my MChem from the University of Edinburgh in 2002, having spent my penultimate year in a laboratory at the University of Stuttgart in Germany. I stayed at Edinburgh to undertake a PhD in the field of gas electron diffraction and, after completing that in 2005, I managed an EPSRC service providing gas-phase structures to UK researchers. I was awarded my EPSRC Career Acceleration Fellowship in 2010, and in 2013 I was appointed Lecturer in Physical Chemistry at the University of York.
