Biography
I joined Kingston Business School as a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in September 2014. I teach entrepreneurial finance and innovation and my research interests include venture capital, business angels, start up creation and crowdfunding. I also manage on behalf of Kingston University, the INNOGROW project, an ERASMUS+ EU funded project which aims to develop innovative ‘learning path' methods for innovative entrepreneurs. Aside from my academic work, I provide consultancy support to the World Bank's InfoDev program, which helps innovative ventures through a global network of business innovation centers that assists early-stage entrepreneurs—offering mentoring, facilities, and seed funding. I have been recently invited by the European Commission (DG Research & Innovation) to join an expert panel responsible for the evaluation of multimillion project proposals targeting entrepreneurship and innovation.
