Biography
Dr Stephen Axon is a Senior Research Associate at Liverpool John Moores University, where he conducts research and teaches in the areas of low-carbon energy transitions and sustainability. Stephen has expertise in the ways in which the public engage with addressing climate change at the community level; indicating the extent to which individuals want (or do not want) to participate in community-based carbon reduction strategies. At LJMU, Stephen conducts research into sustainable energy transitions across Europe, exploring stakeholder engagement with community energy projects; developing low-carbon innovations and pathways; and highlighting the role of energy policy in the transition to a low-carbon society and future.
