Biography
Katarzyna Parzych is a post-doc in Dr Holger Auner's group at the Centre for Haematology. Upon being awarded a studentship from National Heart and Lung Institute Foundation in October 2009, she undertook her PhD on the role of toll-like receptors in smoking related disease. In October 2012, Katarzyna started her post-doctoral training where she is investigating protein degradation pathways in multiple myeloma. The aim of her project is to understand how novel approaches of targeting endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD) pathway could be used for therapeutic purposes in multiple myeloma.
