Charlie Thompson

Biography

Charlie Thompson is a Partner in the Financial Services Practice at Odgers Berndtson in London. He is responsible for delivering the firms' full range of services to the insurance industry in the UK across general, life and pension and the Lloyd's market. He has over 16 years' of search experience working across the insurance, banking and capital markets sectors. He began his search career at a global recruitment firm and subsequently worked for two boutique search firms before joining Whitehead Mann in 2004. He has led numerous assignments across insurance and banking and has executed mandates for board and other senior management positions within the broader financial services arena. Roles have included various heads of products, sectors and geographies, heads of strategy, IR and M&A, as well as Chairman and NEDs. Charlie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA(Hons) in History.
