Biography
Tim Clare has 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy, specialising in due diligence and environmental risk management. He is an experienced environmental auditor and director of multi-site, multi-jurisdictional environmental, health and safety (EHS) due diligence projects, assisting in negotiations and the development of transactional solutions. Tim has worked for clients based in the UK, North America, Europe and Asia Pacific and has managed projects assessing businesses in most industrial sectors in over 50 countries worldwide. Clients have been drawn from investment banking, private equity, property fund management, industry and the legal sector including Goldman Sachs, Bridgepoint Capital, Global Infrastructure Partners, Prudential Property Investment Managers, Anheuser-Busch InBev, BHP Billiton, Clifford Chance LLP and CB Richard Ellis Limited. Tim has also worked on environmental impact assessment, environmental management system and waste management strategy development projects and has assisted various clients in managing contentious issues. Tim holds an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Stirling and a BSc (Hons) in Conservation. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AMIEMA) and a former trustee and Vice Chair of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association (UKELA).
