Biography
Dr. Schofield Peter is currently a Consultant Cardiologist at Addenbrookes & Papworth Hospitals, Cambridge. He was appointed a Consultant Cardiologist in 1989 and is currently the Clinical Chairman of the Anglia Cardiac Network. The network is responsible for the strategic direction and provision of cardiac services within Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Research Interest
Peter’s subspecialty interest is in percutaneous coronary intervention procedures. His experience in this area covers some 25 years of practice. In recent years, he has carried out up to 750 procedures per year with a success rate of greater than 98%. He holds a Level 10 National Clinical Excellence Award.
