Biography
Professor Adam Ogilvie-Smith is a visiting professor at the Aberdeen Business School, appointed in 2008. His teaching interests lie in the areas of Management Consultancy, Organisation Review, Organisational Development, Strategy, Marketing and Business Continuity. He has presented his 'Argubus' workshop on management consultancy and organisational development to the class of MBA students annually since 2009.
Research Interest
As a member first of the European Security Research & Innovation Forum (ESRIF) and then the European Commission’s Framework Programme 7 (FP7) Security Advisory Group, Adam has played a role in setting the European security research agenda in recent years. He therefore is closely involved in several aspects of European security research. He conducts research into the application of innovation in the fields of defence, security, resilience, cyber security and communications. He also researches how the public sector, the private sector and academia can collaborate in the most effective and efficient manner – both in the UK and across Europe. His management and business research interests range from Management Consultancy, Organisation Review, Organisational Development, Strategy, Marketing, Business Development, International Enterprise, Knowledge Management and Business Continuity.
