Biography
Dr. David Gally is affiliated to Deaprtment of Infection and Immunity, Roslin Institute, where Dr. David Gally is currently working as Professor. Dr. David Gally has authored and co-authored several national and international publications and also working as a reviewer for reputed professional journals. Dr. David Gally is having an active association with different societies and academies around the world. Dr. David Gally made his mark in the scientific community with the contributions and widely recognition from honourable subject experts around the world. Dr. David Gally has received several awards for the contributions to the scientific community. Dr. David Gally major research interest involves research aims to define the genetic determinants that contribute to the spread of important zoonotic diseases such as those caused by enterohaemorrhagic E. coli and Salmonella.  Current work is applying machine learning and phylogenomics to predict the source and disease threat of isolates. The other main focus of our research is to understand the expression of bacterial colonisation factors and apply this knowledge to develop vaccines to limit bacterial zoonotic diseases. .
Research Interest
