Biography
Fahad Rahman is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Politics at SOAS. He is currently a DPhil student reading social anthropology at Wolfson College, University of Oxford. Prior to joining SOAS he has worked as a psychology lecturer at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) in Pakistan. He taught undergraduate courses on social science research methods, counselling psychology, human behaviour, introduction to statistics, and social psychology.
Research Interest
Islam and secularism; Muslim identity and discourse; gender and sexuality; identity politics; human rights; cosmopolitanism.
