Biography
Claire has over 20 years laboratory experience including nine years in microbiological laboratories and two years with Scottish Water, before joining the Institute in 2002 where she has worked in both the Soils and Catchment Management groups.
Research Interest
She has experience in field sample and data collection, a wide range of laboratory techniques, diatom identifications to genus/species level, and also DNA analysis. Claire also worked in the Soils Group from 2004-2005. She successfully gained an HND with distinction in Sustainable Environmental Management in 2009.
