Biography
Georgina is a doctoral researcher in Biomedical Ethics and a registered adult nurse working in Cardiac Intensive Care. Georgina’s primary area of research is moral distress and ethics in healthcare. Georgina is currently exploring how moral distress is defined, with plans to interview nurses to explore the ways in which moral distress affects nurses working in critical care in the United Kingdom. The empirical results will inform an ethical analysis regarding the way in which we ought to respond to moral distress.
