Biography
Stuart has worked in management for more than 38 years, and has direct experience of several disciplines including service, sales, marketing, quality, training, project management and change consultancy. In his last full time role, he had UK responsibility for business operations for one of a leading blue chip company's developing channels with an annual turnover of £836M. He retired in 2004 and since 2005, he has worked for the University of Central Lancashire Business School, delivering a range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also been a member of the Monitoring Board for HMP Preston for four and a half years until September 2010, becoming Vice-Chair of the Board in January 2009. He has an MBA (Nottingham University, 1996), a BA in Biology (1979), and a Diploma in Marketing (1984).
