Biography
I am a Lecturer in the Psychology of Criminal Investigations. I've has previously conducted research on topics such as victims of psychopaths, psychopathy and false confessions, and attitudes toward punishment, and am well rehearsed in all areas of criminal psychology. My main research is on psychopathy, serious violent and sexual offenders, as well as risk assessment. I have presented work at multiple peer-reviewed international conferences, and am engaged in multiple international research projects. My PhD research was on the stability of psychopathic traits and predictors of stability and change across a period of 40 years. With valuable assistance from the rest of the criminology team, I have led the development of the BSc in Criminal Psychology.

Criminal Psychology, psychopathy, life-course and developmental criminology, interrogative compliance.
