Biography

Dr. Giuseppe Di Fatta is currently working as a Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science, University of Reading , United Kingdom. Research Interests: Data Mining and Machine Learning Algorithms, Predictive Analytics, Big Data Analytics, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Data Mining in Networks Teaching: Data Mining, Data Analytics and Mining Introduction Dr. Giuseppe Di Fatta is the Head of the Department of Computer Science. Previously he was School Director of PGT Programmes and the Programme Director of the MSc Advanced Computer Science. He joined the University of Reading in 2006. From 2004 to 2006, he was with the University of Konstanz, Germany. From 2000 to 2004, he was with the High-Performance Computing and Networking Institute of the National Research Council, Italy. In 1999, he was a research fellow at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI), Berkeley, CA, USA. Dr. Di Fatta serves in the editorial board of the Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA). He is the founder of the IEEE ICDM Workshop on Data Mining in Networks and has chaired several international events, such as the 2015 International Conference on Internet and Distributed Computing Systems.
