Biography
She graduated with a BSc in Geology from the University of Edinburgh in 2012, before undertaking a PhD, also at the University of Edinburgh. During her PhD, she demonstrated on a range of lab and field based undergraduate courses and was also involved with a number of outreach activities, developing a keen enthusiasm for teaching and science communication. Having finished her PhD (just about!) she joined Geobus in July 2016, and now travel all over Scotland with the project delivering workshops on a wide range of Earth Science topics to secondary school students. She is a keen climber and hillwalker, and particularly enjoy the applied and outdoor nature of geoscience.
Research Interest
experimental methods to investigate the mobility of hydrogen in mantle minerals and consequent implications for water in the deep earth.
