Biography
Emma qualified as a pharmacist in 2008 after undertaking her pre-registration year at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. She has since continued to work in the NHS as a clinical hospital pharmacist. Whilst working as a Rotational Pharmacist at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, she undertook a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy at Keele University, which she successfully completed in 2010. From 2010 until 2014 she continued to work at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust as an Advanced Pharmacist, specialising in Critical Care, Parenteral Nutrition and Gastroenterology. She was also part of the pre-registration training team at the trust and was involved with the training of junior pharmacists, nurses and doctors.
