Biography
Ken is a lifelong Alaskan who joined AMC in 1991, shortly after graduation from Oregon State University. He became AMC Engineer’s Vice President in 2012. Ken is “wired” as a consulting engineer. He listens closely to understand client’s needs; solving them with proven technology. He excels at designing simple, operator friendly, electrical systems which solve complex electrical challenges. Ken is passionate about continuing education, a necessity in the rapidly changing electrical field. He teaches the electrical portion of UAA’s Northern Design Course which fulfills the Alaska PE registration requirements for Arctic Engineering. When he is not studying the latest electrical technology developments, Ken enjoys spending time with his family hiking, skiing, camping and flying around Alaska.
