Biography

Richard Garcia is a key member of T. Y. Lin International’s Leadership Team and serves as Executive Vice President for Lindbergh & Associates, a T. Y. Lin International Company, based in Charleston, South Carolina. In his role, Richard oversees strategic planning and market sector growth for architectural and engineering services in the Federal, Municipal, Higher Education, and Industrial sectors. He is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s 32-person office in Charleston, which is one of the largest combined architecture and engineering providers in the Tri-county area. Richard is a registered professional engineer with more than 28 years of experience, including extensive project/program management experience on federal projects in the southeastern United States. He has successfully managed numerous Federal ID/IQ for Architecture/Engineering, environmental restoration, and construction contracts, and excels at directing and supervising technical staff on major projects of above-average complexity. Richard is active in industry associations such as the Society of American Military Engineers, Charleston Chapter, for which he serves as Deputy Regional Vice President for the Carolinas, and the International Facility Management Association.
