Biography
"Dr. Doran joined Bradley University as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems in Fall 2014. He received the MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas, and the BS in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. His teaching and research interests include game programming, artificial intelligence, and computer architecture. Teaching Courses taught at Bradley CS101 Introduction to Programming CIS456 CIS556 Game Engine Modification Courses Previously Taught Engineering Ethics Introduction to Programming (Java based, C-based) Systems Programming Scholarship Dr. Doran's research interests are in the area of computer games. Procedural content generation for games, game AI, multi-agent computing, game economics and story generation. He has published articles in IEEE Transactions on Computational Intelligence and AI in Games, Foundations of Digital Games conference, DNA and Cell Biology, International Journal of Intelligent Games & Simulation Service Dr. Doran has been a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Computational Intelligence and AI in Games, Foundations of Digital Games conference, Entertainment Computing, ACM Computers in Entertainment."
