Biography
Dr. Giuffre has taught full-time in Physical Therapy since 1999. She joined the CSU DPT faculty on July 1, 2015 as the Program Director. Her clinical experience has been diverse as she started in a large teaching hospital in 1992 working with patients with orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, cardiopulmonary and traumatic diagnoses. She has also worked as a PT in home care (adult and pediatric), hospice, rehab and skilled-nursing settings. In 1997, Dr. Giuffre pursued a position in pediatrics and this continues to be her area of clinical expertise. Prior to joining the faculty at CSU, Dr. Giuffre was the Director of Clinical Education in a DPT program and has much experience in this area.
Research Interest
Current Research interests include: Clinical Education of Physical Therapy students, Pediatric Physical Therapy, and issues related to mobility of those with chronic renal disease. See below for current, ongoing research projects.
