Tracy Bahl

Biography

 Tracy Bahl is Executive Vice President of Health Plans for CVS Health. Bahl is responsible for the growth, profitability and performance of the company’s business serving health plans, insurance companies and other health care payers. Known for his deep customer focus and relationship-building skills, Bahl has nearly 30 years of experience as a health care executive with a strong track record of delivering results in leadership positions. Prior to his role at CVS Health, Bahl served as a Special Advisor at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he focused on activities in the health care sector. During that period, he also served as Executive Chairman of Emdeon, a General Atlantic portfolio company and industry-leading health care information and transaction services business. Prior to joining General Atlantic, Bahl was Chief Executive Officer of Uniprise, a division of UnitedHealth Group, and previously served in various executive positions at CIGNA HealthCare. Bahl currently serves on the boards of MedExpress, the nation's largest urgent care center chain, and TeleTech Holdings, a leading provider of customer engagement services, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Gustavus Adolphus College. Bahl holds MBAs from Columbia University and the London Business School, and received undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Health and Exercise Science from Gustavus Adolphus College.
