Biography

Dr. Albert Hsia, Ph.D., serves as Chief Business Officer at Disarm Therapeutics, Inc. Dr. Hsia serves as Partner at Convergent Capital. Dr. Hsia serves as Partner at iXLife SAS. He has been the Chief Executive Officer at Avra Medicines, Inc. since March 26, 2014. Dr. Hsia serves as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Treasurer at Lucena Medicines, Inc. Dr. Hsia was employed at iXLife SAS. Prior to joining iXLife, Dr. Hsia served as Head of Business Development at Synta Pharmaceuticals, where he led the negotiation and management of alliances totaling over $1 billion in potential value. He also played central roles in acquisitions, private placements and public offerings and he held management roles in early research and development. He serves as Director at Lucena Medicines, Inc. Prior to joining Synta, he was a research fellow at the CNRS Institute of Biological Sciences. Dr. Hsia received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at U.C. San Francisco and his B.A. in Chemistry and Physics at Harvard University.
