Biography
Value Delivered Mike draws upon 30 years experience in the design and construction services industry to set direction for our electrical and mechanical construction business in the United States. He ensures our day-to-day operations are tuned for high performance and foster consistent customer satisfaction. Expertise Mike's expertise within the design and construction services industry includes: specialty contractor operations, complex project management, cost estimating, procurement management, and cost-control systems. In addition, Mike has effectively managed the acquisition process, selection, and post-acquisition integration activities at EMCOR. In his prior position as Executive Vice President of EMCOR's Construction Services Division, he was responsible for the operations of the electrical company subsidiaries, including business and bidding strategy development and implementation, preparation and monitoring of budgets, project performance evaluations, implementation of financial and project control systems, and contract management support. Mike's diverse project experience includes: environmental remediation, wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, power generation, institutional facilities, and process plants. The services provided range from feasibility studies to engineering, design, procurement, construction management, start up, and operations support. Mike is an active member of the Construction Industry Roundtable, having held positions such as Director and President for the New York Metro Section of AACE International (formerly the Association of the Advancement of Cost Engineering), Water Environment Control Federation and the Municipal Engineers Association. With his passion for knowledge, Mike's educational background includes an MBA in finance from New York University, a bachelor's of electrical engineering degree from City College of New York, and a bachelor's of science degree from the City College of New York. In addition, he's participated in the Management Development Program at Northeastern University. The Personal Side Mike enjoys tennis, reading, theater, music, and traveling.
