Biography
Focus of Work Bio Dr. Dong’s lab research interests focuses on the mechanisms of neurodegeneraton and related disorders. Two ongoing NIH funded projects include using a combination of human and mouse genetics to identify novel genes and pathways that give rise to schizophrenia; additionally, using a transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease to investigate the relationship and mechanisms between stress and Alzheimer’s pathogenesis.
