Biography
Chief executive of Grupo Bimbo, the world's largest bread maker, which had 2009 revenues of US$8.6 billion. Bimbo makes Entenmann's cakes, Thomas English Muffins, Pan Bimbo and Mrs. Baird's breads. In late 2010 announced it would acquire the bakery business of Sara Lee for $959 million. In 2009 it acquired the US operations of George Weston Foods. With his family, Servitje Montull owns 37% of Bimbo, founded by his father Lorenzo Servitje (age 92) and three others in 1954. Servitje Montull's uncle, Roberto Servitje Sendra, serves as company chairman. Servitje Montull has an MBA from Stanford University.
