Biography
Daniel M. Anderson is a Principal investigator and Assistant Professor, Department of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation, University of Minnesota.Dr. Anderson has completed training in clinical cancer research and is currently working on projects investigating the effectiveness of current therapies in treating patients with advanced cancers. Dr. Anderson's work has been published in journals such as the Annals of Oncology and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He was also a featured physician in "American Heart," a documentary that explored health care through the eyes of refugees living in the American heartland.
Research Interest
Dr. Anderson became interested in working with people with cancer because of the unique relationships he has developed with them. He also enjoys the intellectual challenge of working with patients who have blood and clotting disorders. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research and Minnesota Society of Clinical Oncology.
